Jambs
A pair of carved white marble fireplace jambs, in the manner of Robert Adam
England, late 18th century
Each of tall rectangular form, finely carved in low relief with urns issuing scrolling foliage, anthemia and pendant husk swags. The restrained classical ornament and delicate symmetry follow designs by Robert Adam.
Now useable as wall mounted sculpture.
